Turns out the fan was actually pretty dusty, (first time cleaning it) but this did not solve anything. My first thought was the fan is clogged up with dust and choking to death, so I dissected the computer and cleaned the fan with compressed air. This will all last for about 10 seconds or so and then everything is perfectly normal again. Alright, so for the past week and a half or so my Alienware 14 will boot up perfectly fine, but after about a minute or so of being on the fan will nearly explode from spinning up so loud, and I the computer completely locks up, no mouse movement or loading on any games/webpages.
